Groups
Prerequisites
- Access Level: Sub-admin, Admin.
- Permission Requirements:
- . Basic Group Interaction
- View groups they are a member of
- View keys for groups they are a member of
- Create groups
- Rename own groups and transfer ownership
- Add users to groups they are a member of
- Edit other members in groups they are a member of
- Remove other users from groups they are a member of
- Delete groups they are the owner of
- . Basic Project Interaction
- View projects they are a member of
- View other members in projects they are a member of
- Classify resources with projects they are active in
- . Project Management
- Declassify resources tagged with projects they manage
- Add users to projects they manage
- Edit memberships in projects they manage
- Remove users from projects they manage
Access the Groups from Management
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
View the Group’s Details
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group you wish to view.
- Click the View button in the top right panel.
- View the group's name, members and creation date in the left panel.
Access the Groups' Overlay
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group whoose open overlay you want to view.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel..
- In the new window, view the group's members list, Add new members, Change project or Rename group.
- Once done, click Close.
note
Click Minimize to minimize group overlay in the top taskbar.
Add a Member to a Group from Management
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group you wish to add member(s) to.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the new window, click Add new members in the left panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the new member's name.
- Select members' permissions in the group.
- Click Add.

You may be asked to enter your password when adding a member for the first time.
Rename a Group from Management
Method one:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group you wish to rename.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Rename.
- In the pop-up, enter the new group name.
- Click Rename.
Method two:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group you wish to rename.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the new window, click Rename Group in the left panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the new group name.
- Click Rename.
Change the Project in a Group from Management
Method one:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group you wish to tag with project.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Change project.
- In the pop-up, select the project.
- Click Classify.
Method two:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group you wish to tag with project.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the new window, click Change project in the left panel.
- In the pop-up, select the project.
- Click Classify.
caution
You must be a certified member of the project you want to tag your group with. Multiple groups can share the same project tag.
Non-members of the project can view the tagged group's contents only after being granted certified project membership by an admin.
Forcefully Change the Project in a Group from Management
Method one:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group you wish to forcefully tag with project.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Change project.
- In the pop-up, tick Use my permission to override rules, re-tag resources with any visible project, regardless of current project relations.
- Select the project to tag the group.
- Click Force change with admin privilege.
Method two:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group you wish to forcefully tag with project.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the new window, click Change project in the left panel.
- In the pop-up, tick Use my permission to override rules, re-tag resources with any visible project, regardless of current project relations.
- Select the project to tag the group.
- Click Force change with admin privilege.
Delete a Group from Management
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Users section.
- Click the Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group you wish to delete.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Delete.
- In the pop-up, click Yes to confirm.
